The use of gloves, face masks and protective goggles will protect you and the casualty from risk of infection. Bodily fluids can penetrate the body through open wounds, cuts, sores and the mouth and eyes.

Common Infections include, colds, HIV infection, Fever, Meningitis, Chicken pox, Mumps, Measles

Before administration of first aid make sure you wash your hands, Wear gloves, Apron, Goggles, Resuscitation face mask or Bag Valve Mask if available.
